How to Pay Your Statement
How to Pay Your Statement
Updated over a week ago

Monthly, your statement opens on the first day of the month and closes on the last day of the month. You can pay it using Auto-pay, so you don't have to worry about it.

If turned on, Auto-pay is going to pay the last closed statement on the 5th day of the following month. Otherwise, you can manually pay it until the due date on the 23rd.

Auto-pay

Autopay is a feature that you can schedule to automatically pay your card bill using an account you choose, either an external Linked Account or your Gabriel Secured Deposit Account. It's the best way to help you build your credit, and we recommend using Autopay with an external Linked Account.

To enable Auto-pay using an external Linked Account:

  1. Open your Gabriel Money App.

  2. Tap on 'Card' at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Then, tap on 'Auto-Pay'.

  4. Select the originating account on 'From'.

  5. Tap 'Turn ON'.

Monthly Statement in Depth

  • Monthly Statement: The statement cycle concludes on the last day of the month (e.g., on the 31st for months with 31 days).

  • Auto Pay Setup: If you set up Auto-pay, the payment will be automatically deducted from your linked account or your Gabriel Secured Deposit Account on the 5th of each month.

  • Due Date: The due date for manual payments is the 23rd of each month.

  • Opting Out of Auto-Pay: If you opt out of Auto-pay, you must manually make the payment by the 23rd.

  • Payment Default: Failure to make the payment by the 23rd results in an automatic withdrawal from your Gabriel Money Account (Secured Deposit Account) on the 27th, covering the entire outstanding amount.
